People deserve to be heard
Before anything else, being heard matters.
About Malaga
Behaviour makes more sense when we understand the experiences, emotions and relationships that shape it.
Why we exist
Malaga exists to help people better understand themselves so they can better understand and respond to others. Not through judgement, but through reflection, honesty and a willingness to look at what's really going on.
Every behaviour
has a story.
And every story leaves an imprint on how we see ourselves and the people around us.
What guides the work
Before anything else, being heard matters.
Slowing down makes the story beneath behaviour visible.
When patterns are seen, new responses become possible.
Understanding is the start. Acting on it is the work.
Insight only matters when it changes how we respond.
Meet Deacon
Deacon has worked for more than 20 years alongside young people, families, frontline workers, practitioners and organisations.
His work has focused on helping people make sense of behaviour, relationships, lived experience and the patterns that shape how people respond to themselves and others.
Over time, this work became the foundation for STATUES and the broader approach now being developed through Malaga.
